OPEN WINDOWS TO SKY

Residential building rises in agreement with the surrounding high-rises and still in human scale by means of nature-friendly facilities like naturally ventilated vertical gardens. The façade consists of two independent shells; interiors are protected from adverse weather conditions and noise on account of the outer shell. As of fourth level, the form vaguely broadens downwards and the glass covering the surface of the building earns a curve and then extends horizontally as the skirt of the building, which covers the one whole space with restaurants and the retail space above which four separate housing zones (187 apartments) located; common areas between the zones house social areas, maintenance and support facilities. Observation deck open to public is located at the top two floors.  Environmental systems of the construction grant low energy consumption. Owing to the metro connection and the six underground car park levels, the transportation and the parking problems are solved.
